Southern Sport Vessel, a 62' custom built Striker Sportfishing boat along with three 17' Carolina Skiffs powered by 25hp 4-Stroke motors, and two 20' Panga's departs for the Chandeleur Islands from Biloxi, MS. We are docked behind the Golden Nugget Casino at Point Cadet Marina. This beautiful, custom built yacht brings you to the Chandeleur Islands for the ultimate fishing charter experience. Chandeleur Island fishing commonly encounters large schools of surface feeding Redfish, Speckled Trout, as well as other species.

 

The Chandeleur Islands offer fantastic wade-fishing in the cuts and bayous of the main island, and many other areas of the smaller North Island and New Harbor Islands. The Islands are Located 40 miles offshore in the waters of Louisiana and provide anglers with 45 miles of surf and over 30,000 acres of wade-able grass flats, coves, and inlets. The best months for wade fishing are April, May, and October. The best months for fishing from the boat are June, July, August, and September.
